Fragile parts receive special handling at 603 Auto Salvage. We know that items like headlights, mirrors, taillights, and glass panels can be easily damaged during transit, so we take extra care to protect them. Each fragile part is wrapped in multiple layers of protective material — such as bubble wrap, foam padding, and cardboard inserts — before being boxed. We often double-box delicate components for added safety.
Once packed, each box is clearly labeled “FRAGILE” on all sides to alert carriers to handle it with care. Inside the packaging, we use shock-absorbing materials to cushion the item against movement or vibration. For items with exposed connectors or delicate mounting tabs, we add additional reinforcement to prevent bending or breakage.
Our team has years of experience shipping thousands of parts across the country, and we’ve refined our packing process through trial and experience. We use industry-approved materials and never cut corners on packaging quality.
Even for large or irregularly shaped parts — such as bumpers, grilles, or door mirrors — we design custom packaging that fits the part securely and minimizes shifting during transport.
In short, every fragile item we send out is handled as if it were going to our own repair shop. You can rest assured your part will arrive safely and in the same condition it left our yard.
