No, this is specifically a xenon HID headlamp assembly. HID and halogen headlamps have different wiring, ballasts, and mounting configurations and are not interchangeable.
The ballast is included with the assembly. HID bulbs may need to be transferred from your old headlamp or purchased separately as they can be fragile during removal.
The blacked-out or shaded background refers to the dark chrome or black finish inside the headlamp housing, giving it a more aggressive appearance compared to standard silver reflector housings.
