General Motors is recalling certain 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, and Cadillac Escalade EXT vehicles. The brake pedal may feel soft or go to the floor due to a condition in the ABS modulator valve that allows brake fluid to bypass the valve’s internal check system.
Consequence: Extended stopping distances increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the ABS modulator valve assembly, free of charge. GM recall 09056.

AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:DRIVER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE

General Motors LLC is recalling certain 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks. The Takata driver-side frontal air bag inflator may rupture during deployment due to propellant degradation from moisture intrusion over time.
Consequence: Metal fragments could be propelled toward the driver, causing serious injury or death.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the driver-side frontal air bag inflator, free of charge. GM recall 14900.

General Motors is recalling certain 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks. The intermediate steering shaft coupling may separate due to inadequate assembly, resulting in a loss of steering control.
Consequence: Loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the intermediate steering shaft assembly as needed, free of charge. GM recall 14064.
