How do you dispose of fluids like oil or coolant?

All automotive fluids are removed during intake and stored in sealed, labeled containers that meet state environmental standards. Each type of fluid — including oil, coolant, fuel, transmission fluid, and brake fluid — is stored separately to prevent cross-contamination.

Once collected, these fluids are picked up by licensed recycling contractors who process them for reuse or safe disposal. Motor oil and transmission fluids are commonly refined and reintroduced into industrial lubricants, while coolant and antifreeze are filtered and recycled into new batches. Fuel that can be recovered safely is separated and reused within regulatory limits.
