Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Auto Dismantler to join our team. This is a hands-on position that involves dismantling vehicles, removing and organizing usable parts, and preparing scrap for processing. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in an active outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely dismantle vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment
  
• Identify, remove, and label reusable parts such as engines, transmissions, wheels, alternators, and catalytic converters
  
• Sort scrap materials including steel, aluminum, and copper for recycling
  
• Tag and organize inventory with attention to accuracy
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  
• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines
  
• Work closely with other yard staff to ensure timely flow of parts for resale
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in auto dismantling, mechanical repair, or salvage yard operations preferred
  
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
  
• Comfortable using tools, lifts, and cutting equipment
  
• Knowledge of proper fluid draining and disposal methods
  
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors year-round
  
• Forklift or heavy equipment experience a plus
  
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player

Schedule: Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
