What safety gear should I bring when visiting?

Because 603 Auto Salvage is a full-service yard, customers generally don’t need to bring any heavy-duty safety gear. Our staff handles all dismantling and lifting, so you’ll never be asked to work around active machinery or climb onto vehicles. However, for your own comfort and safety, we recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing for an industrial environment.

If you plan to walk through the yard with one of our employees to inspect vehicles or large parts, we’ll provide any necessary protective gear on-site. That might include safety glasses or a high-visibility vest, depending on the area. We keep extra sets available for visitors, so there’s no need to bring your own. For customers staying in the main office or parts counter area, normal casual wear is perfectly fine.

Our yard follows strict safety protocols. Vehicles are stored securely, heavy equipment is operated only by licensed staff, and walkways are clearly marked. We maintain a clean and organized property so that both our team and visitors can move safely. Safety isn’t just a rule here — it’s part of our culture.
